Textile Tuesday (YR 1 & 2) Welcome to ‘Textile Tuesday After-school Weekly Club’, specially designed for Year 1 and Year 2 students! This engaging and fun-filled program is carefully planned and is perfect for young crafters who are eager to explore their creativity and develop new skills each week. All workshops will be taught under the guidance of our qualified and DBS-certified Art teacher. Each term half term, children will focus on one key skill to develop which will give them knowledge on a deeper level. The aim is for children to produce a handcrafted weaved wall hanging that they can feel proud of and to take home to show their family! Our sessions are carefully tailored to suit the interests and abilities of young children, ensuring they have a fantastic time while learning and creating in a safe environment. The Tuesday Weekly Club not only fosters creativity but also helps in developing fine motor skills, enhancing problem-solving abilities, and encouraging teamwork.
