Terms and Conditions for Craft Workshops and Events

 

 

 

1. IntroductionWelcome to CRAFTY BIRDY!

 

  • By registering for our workshops, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions to ensure Parents and Carers know and understand their and our responsibilities. Please read them carefully.

 

2. Registration when booking online

  • Registration online for workshops is required prior to attendance to ensure we have the correct contact details and any medical information concerning your child or if you are booking as an adult.

  • Participants must provide accurate personal information during the registration process.

  • Bookings are non-refundable. Substitutions, such as sending a different child in place of the originally booked child, are not allowed. (see cancellation and refund policy below).

 

3. Age Requirements

 

  • Our workshops are designed for both children and adults. All workshops have suggested ages to help support children’s abilities accessing different ranges of Arts and Crafts.

 

4. Payments

  • Full payment is required upon registration to secure your spot in the workshops, Art Holiday Camps, After-School Clubs and Private events – All of our services must be paid in advance. If you or if booking for your child, a place will not be guaranteed until payment has been received in full.

 

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

  • We do not offer refunds if you are ill or unable to attend the workshop.

  • If you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to an alternative craft workshop scheduled for the same week, provided it is one of our after-school workshops on Monday or Tuesday (all subject to availability) This can be made up to 48 hours prior. If you are unable to attend an alternative date, payment will still be taken.

  • Half-Term Art and Craft Workshops are unable to be rescheduled for these sessions.

 

 

6. Instructor Illness or Cancellation

 

  • In the event that the instructor is ill or unable to hold a workshop for personal reasons, we will strive to reschedule the session within the same calendar month.

  • Participants will be notified as soon as possible regarding any changes to the workshop schedule due to instructor illness or personal reasons.

 

7. Workshops Participation / Health and Safety during services

 

  • All participants are required to follow the safety instructions provided by the instructor during the workshop.

  • Participants are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their children if they are attending a workshop with a person under the age of 18 years old.

  • Due to the size of our studio, all Art Clubs and Holiday Camps are drop-off sessions only.  

  • Safety of children attending our workshops is paramount and a first aid kit is always accessible in the case of an emergency.

  • Parent/guardian involvement is mandatory for children with disabilities or special needs.

  • Nuts and nut derivatives are prohibited at all events for safety reasons.

  • Services have recommended age ranges, and enrolments outside this range may be refused without refund.

 

8. Force Majeure

  • The Seller is not liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as acts of God, strikes, pandemics, or machinery breakdowns.

9. Materials

 

  • All necessary materials for the workshop will be provided. Should any additional materials be required, participants will be informed in advance.

 

10. Description

  • Any description of Goods and/or Services is for identification purposes only and does not constitute a sale by description.

 

11. Delivery of Goods

  • Delivery of Goods will take place at the Buyer’s specified address unless agreed otherwise in writing.

  • Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • Replacement Goods or refunds will be offered if Goods are damaged in transit, provided the Seller (CRAFTY BIRDY) is notified within 24 hours of delivery.

 

12. Risk and title

 

  • Risk remains with the Seller until the Goods are delivered to the Buyer’s specified address or collected by the Buyer.

  • If the buyer chooses to arrange their own collection or courier, risk passes to the Buyer once the Goods are handed over to the courier or collected.

  • Title of the Goods remains with the Seller until payment is made in full.

 

13. Liability Waiver

  • By participating in the workshop, participants acknowledge and accept that they are participating at their own risk. The organisers shall not be held liable for any injury or accident occurring during the workshop.

  • The Seller accepts no liability for the quality or fitness of Goods/ Services for a specific purpose.•The Seller accepts no liability for damage to property during services

  • The Seller accepts no liability for representations made prior to the contract.•Liability is limited to the price paid under the contract.

 

14. Photography and Media

 

  • We may take photographs and videos during the workshops for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to have your image (or your child’s image) captured, please notify us prior to the workshop.

 

15. Changes to Terms and Conditions

 

  • We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to participants via email or through our website.
